Behind every man is a good woman

But apparently not behind every camera. Or photo shoot.

Awwww....! Tim and his Koosa. And flowered sheets. (If you are old enough to know what a Koosa is, mad props)

I prefer the photos that include me in them, and my apparent ability to make Tim do whatever I wanted.

Yeah, those are batons; what about it? Terrible picture quality, but good times all around.

This picture is like....well....like a FEAST. A really gross, and amusing feast.

A favorite of mine. Tim, wrapped in his pink blanket and playing with my hair. Yup.

Another favorite, shot on location at Penn State one summer session.

The list goes on and on....we were buddies Tim and I. Without him, I'm pretty sure the self destruct button would have been not only pushed but stuck down permanently when we moved during High School.

How lucky am I???

Olivia is special.

We all know this, at least those of us who have gotten to spend more than a minute with her.

But did you know she is so special, they made a doll version? Right down to the 'fro puffs and lovely skin.

Guess what her name is, right on the tag?

Livia. Nuff said. Our girl is going to make Tim RICH.

Of course, since Tim has clearly been in some pretty famous movies, he's all set.*

*(Ok, we only had one male "action figure" that could stand in for the boy. Once the photo shoot started, and Luke was posing, it got funnier and funnier. Even better is that his shirt belt is broken, so he stands around like that ALL THE TIME. I mean, really.)

Left to our own devices....

This wedding was a total surprise for me, which is glorious. I mean, how often do we truly, TRULY get to be happily surprised anymore? Sometimes a movie has an unexpected twist, or that car behind us really DOES have 16 people in it. The surprise opening act is one of your favorite artists. But this, this is...is...WOW! Wow.

They are getting married. I am not there to address envelopes or cut out paper angels, but my head is preparing. My baby brother is getting married. Olivia is incredible, and we can claim her as ours "officially". I love them both so very much. We have had so many years of fun together already, and this is the start of so many more.

As the wedding festivities hurtle along in NY, many (most?) of us are stuck far far away. We can't help with the hands on, and left to our own devices may end up trying to bore everyone with a toast they can't hear or treat relatives with inappropriate drunken story telling in Brooklyn. We gotta get that feel good energy out, and really, isn't a blog the way to do it?

I know, right?
